№1 – KADAMS Digital Clock Timer with Alarm, Waterproof for Water Spray for Bathroom Shower Kitchen, Touch Screen Timer, Temperature and Humidity Display, Double Layer Suction Cup, Hanging Hole, Table Stand

№3 – BALDR Bathroom Clock LCD Waterproof Shower
Make your shower more entertaining with this ingenious REDwater resistant shower clock radio. Whether you just want to know the time or have a sing along while you shower, this will do the trick with its digital clock and FM radio. Decide where to put your shower clock radio using either the attached suction cup or hanging loop. Requires 2x AAA and 1x AG(L1131) batteries, not included.
We understand: all the demands of your day are, well, demanding! From the breakneck pace at work to shuttling the kids to activity after activity — and a seemingly never-ending to-do list at home — it’s easy for little things to turn into big deals: energy vortexes that drain your vitality and erode your peace of mind.
But by making a few simple changes to your daily routine, you can cultivate a state of zen-like cool even as meeting requests, event invitations, and other obligations pile up. Take a look at the tips below if you’re in need of a relaxation revolution.
Morning Relaxation Tips
Get up 30 minutes earlier. Even if you swear you’re not a morning person, we guarantee this routine will make you a believer. Put your devices down, find a private place, and break time up into equal segments:
For the last minutes, gently stretch or do some yoga or other light exercise.
Midday Relaxation Tips
Have good scents. Just like the smell of freshly baked cookies can make home buyers feel warm and fuzzy about a house, there are essential oils out there that can promote peace and serenity. Try a reed diffuser with lavender, geranium, bergamot, or ylang ylang oil.
Take a quiet lunch. Find a place where you can eat slowly and mindfully in silence. Or, if you prefer, enjoy some downtime with your colleagues — but resist the urge to talk shop.
Late Afternoon Relaxation Tips
Get outside. Connecting with nature reduces stress and anxiety, discourages dwelling on negatives, relieves fatigue, and makes you more creative. As if that weren’t enough, outdoor recreation — from an easy stroll or lake paddle to a strenuous hike or run — will help you sleep better, too.
Make a to-do list. Many managers and executives agree that jotting down notes or a task list in the evening clears the day’s lingering “mental clutter” and can set you up for a more productive morning.
Be creative. Strum your guitar, doodle, bake scones, or tackle a project with the kids. Creative play makes us better problem solvers and analytical thinkers — but most importantly, it’s fun!
Radios over £150 are top-of-the-range models with amazing state-of-the-art features. For this price you can expect WiFi connectivity, DAB+, crisp sound quality and quality engineering. You can also buy radios like the Pure Evoke C-Fand the Roberts Blutune100 (pictured below), that function as a DAB radio, wireless speakers, and CD player.
Conair SRShower Radio
Conair SRShower Radio is a more basic radio compared to the iFox iF01It is water resistant, and has a convenient hang hook. You can hang this analog radio in the shower pipe, curtain rod, or even the soap dish.
It makes use of four AAA batteries, with conveniently placed buttons and lever for start and volume control.
Because of its very simple design and basic features, this shower radio doesn’t cost that much. For a very low price, you can get a water resistant shower radio. Its full volume is loud for such a cheap unit. And I also like that it has a small footprint, so it doesn’t take a lot of space in the bathroom.
The manufacturer, however, could have added the AAA batteries in the product package. There are also durability concerns about this shower radio.
Pyle Home PSRWaterproof Shower Clock Radio
Pyle Home PSRWaterproof Shower Clock Radio is another digital shower radio that also has a clock function. It has an integrated antenna that gives it the ability to pick up all local stations.
It has a hanging hook for installation, with a rotary volume control.
What I like about this shower radio is that it has a clock. You can keep track of the time you have been in the bathroom with this shower radio, which is important during those busy days.
While it is lightweight at less than ounces, it is a big bulky so this one isn’t the most portable in this list.
Conair Home Teal Shower Radio
Conair Home Teal Shower Radio is another reasonably priced shower radio that you might want to get if you like singing while taking a bath. It is water resistant and has a hang hook.
It is powered by four AAA batteries. To switch on the unit, simply push the on-off button. There’s also a separate control for adjusting the volume level.
Many of those who have bought this shower radio are satisfied with the unit. They say that potential buyers should not expect a technologically advanced radio because this unit is a basic, no-frills AM/FM tuner. But they argue that it does what it is supposed to do.
One of the things I like about this shower radio is that its sound quality is good. We’re talking here of a very cheap AM/FM tuner so you may even think that the audio quality is sub-par.
Can differentiate between walks and runs
The Vivofit 3’s simplicity also determines the features the tracker has: not that many. There’s an accelerometer-based pedometer, but no GPS, no heart rate sensor and no stair/climb-tracking altimeter. It’s as simple as they come, although to an extent this is reflected in the price.
Its one slightly more advanced feature is exercise recognition. Long-press the button and the Vivofit starts registering activities, logged as separate entries in the companion app, as well as adding to your daily steps count.
We’ve heard reports of this misfiring, but in our experience it successfully tells between walks and runs, which is the main thing. If you’re a swimmer you’re probably better off with the swimmer’s edition of the Misfit Shine 2, the Moov Now or something truly swimmer-focused like the Garmin Swim.
Don’t expect amazing accuracy from any of the Garmin Vivofit 3’s stats beyond the time and date, but it seems roughly on par with the better wrist-worn pedometers. Its algorithms are smart enough to block out arm movements while you’re sitting at your work desk, for example.
The root of this seems simple: make just a few sporadic arm movements and they’re discounted. Once they become a pattern, they’re let through. So if you spend minutes patting a dog you’re going to get some ‘phantom’ steps.
The Garmin Vivofit will also automatically log your sleep, and there’s a very basic alarm clock. This tracker has a tiny little speaker a bit like the one you’d see in a classic Casio digital watch. It bleats, it’s not all that loud, and there’s none of the clever tech used in other trackers to wake you up at the right part of the sleep cycle.
You’ll get up at 6:30am (or whatever time you choose) and you’ll like it. There’s no snooze option here either, and no vibrate function, which also rules out phone notifications.
Perma-Tile Waterproof Tile Grout
Product Summaries: TOP Picks for the Best Shower Grout
This stuff is super inexpensive, very user-friendly (comes in handy squirt tubes), and is fully water/mildew resistant – manufacturer recommended for showers and bathtubs.
If you’re tackling a full-on renovation project and will be installing brand new tiles in your shower on the other hand, we recommend two products (based on budget):
For the economical route we recommend going with a standard Polyblend cement-based grout and adding Aquamix Enrich n’ Seal sealant.
This is the standard, old-fashioned way of grouting and involves a very basic prep/cleanup procedure – really hard to screw up and quite a small risk for error.
If you’re looking for the absolute best performing, longest-lasting grout on the other hand and don’t mind spending a few extra dollars, Laticrete’s SpectraLOCK Pro epoxy is an excellent product that withstands mildew, rot, and stains better than anything else.
However, being epoxy-based, some people don’t like the fact that it looks a little ‘plastic’ once it’s cured – it doesn’t have that ‘normal’ sandstone look of traditional cement-based grout. Also, keep in mind that this is a 3-part product with quite a lot of prep work to consider – definitely not the quickest, easiest, or cheapest option.
And lastly, if you’re looking for the simplest, most convenient way to grout your new shower tile, we recommend going with Perma-Tile Waterproof Tile Grout.
This stuff costs about the same as using a regular grout with waterproofing sealant, but the big advantage is that it’s pre-sealed and involves a simple, one step application process – minimal prep work and no additional additives to think about.
Best Easy-to-use Grout for Shower Repairs: Elmer’s E87Tile Grout
This isn’t the best option for remodeling projects where you’re installing a brand new shower, but for repairing old shower grout, it’s fantastic.
You can buy a 2-pack of oz tubes for ten bucks, which should be more than enough to completely re-grout any normal-sized shower, even in master bathrooms.
The instructions on the tube say to remove about 1/16” from the existing grout so the new grout has something to adhere to, so a lot of people like to use a Dremel tool or other small rotary tool to dig out some of the old grout if you’re planning on completely re-grouting.
However, plenty of people say they use a small screwdriver just as effectively, and if you’ll just be patching up areas where grout has chipped away or fallen out, you shouldn’t need to dig anything out at all – just put the Elmer’s grout in the gaps where it’s fallen out.
As far as application, most people actually prefer to squirt the grout on their finger and spread it that way, rather than squirting straight from the tube. Then they just go back and use a damp cloth to wipe up any excess.
Inexpensive way to re-grout and spruce up the appearance of your whole shower
Things we liked
The full A/B kit (you have to mix parts A and B together) comes with everything you need for the job, including wash/prep and cleanup packages, as well as detailed step-by-step instructions
Lots of different colors available (Part C determines color, so sift through all the different color options here)
Far superior to cement-based grout in terms of mildew and stain resistance
Things we didn’t like
Once you mix parts A and B together, you only have about 4minutes to work – if you don’t get the job done before it cures, you’re screwed
There’s a lot of prep/cleaning involved before it’s ready to apply
This stuff is just like normal cement-based grout, you can make it any color you want, and the best part is it’s one simple step and you’re done – no additional measuring, mixing, or adding waterproof sealants.
The lb tub will be enough to grout a relatively small shower, but for anything larger than about 40 sq ft, you’ll probably need to get two tubs.
Also, this is an unsanded grout so it’s perfect for most standard shower tile joints which will be either ⅛” or 1/16”.
And lastly if you need a color other than white (which is what it comes in), you can just simply mix in a grout pigment and get just about any color you could imagine.

Unless you stick to swimming widths of the pool, measuring the number of lengths swum is a basic swimming metric. Yes, you can count them yourself in your head, but you could say the same for the number of steps you walk – and that’s ridiculous.
You want to increase your swimming pace, and swim trackers should recognize when you turn so remember to set the pool length before diving in.
Stroke rate: used to find out more about your swimming technique, rhythm and timing. This can be the strokes you take per minute, and also how many strokes you take per pool length. If your stroke rate is too low, you might be moving your arms too slowly. If your stoke rate is too high, your stroke might be too short for optimal performance. stands for “Swim Golf”. Golf? Yes, don’t worry about that. It’s a combined metric of speed and effort – a measurement that adds the number of strokes you take with the amount of time it takes to swim the length of a pool. If you swim a 25m pool in 2seconds using 1strokes that’s a SWOLF score of 4Get below 40 for great SWOLF scores. Like in golf, the aim is to get your score as low as you can.
Obviously SWOLF scores vary on the length of the pool, so try to keep to one length of pool. SWOLF-measuring trackers will have settings for different-length pools.
The Fitbit Flex is Fitbit’s first fully waterproof activity tracker, and one that’s ready to measure swimming as one of your fitness regimes.
Much like the original Flex that it replaces the Flex is minimalist in looks (Fitbit’s slimmest tracker yet) and display. You see how far you are with hitting your daily targets by a series of five discreet lights that each represent 20 percent of your total reached so far. If you want to tell the time on your tracker or see all the stats right there on your wrist you should consider another tracker.
Fitbit is clearly aiming the Flex at women, but it’s a perfectly acceptable tracker for men, although maybe less so for the interesting bangle and Pendant tracker holder accessories that Fitbit offers for the Flex 2.
The swimming stats are quite basic: the Flex measures your swim duration and calculates the calories burned dueing that splashy session. The Flex is a perfectly good tracker for the casual exerciser and swimmer, but those wishing for detailed swimming metrics (including strokes, pace and SWOLF) should consider the other swim trackers featured here.
Steps, distance, calories burned, sleep quality and duration, swim laps and swim distance.
Alerts: smartphone notifications; inactivity alerts; alarms
Neither the Misfit Speedo Shine or Shine has to be worn on the wrist. You could instead attach it your swimming costume. It can’t, however, measure your heart rate – especially not on your trunks! Back on dry land you can clip it onto your shirt or belt.
Both of these waterproof Shines track your swimming laps and distance, but not the style of your strokes. They count swim laps for 25- and 50-metre pools (you pre-set the length), and count down a set swim time. That means it’s not much use in open water, so triathletes should look elsewhere (see the Polar A800 above).
You triple tap to tell the Shine that you’re about to start swimming. Misfit says that the number of laps swam and distance is validated by Speedo’s Aqualab tests.
Once you’ve finished your exercise you tag it, and choose from a range of sports including swimming, cycling, basketball, football, tennis and running.
Unlike most trackers the Shines don’t feature a rechargeable battery. Instead they have a replaceable six-month battery, which means you don’t have to worry so much about it running out after a few days. The silver disc comes with both a White and Black sport band, and action clip and a clasp.

The Beats SoloWireless, released in September 2016, looks almost the same as the Solo- and that’s OK. What has changed are features found on the inside, like Apple’s proprietary Wcustom Bluetooth chip, which has drastically improved battery life and makes pairing to Apple devices flawless and simple. Umm…40 hours of listening without recharging? Wow!
It still showcases the hallmark Beats design and is available in many attractive finishes such as glossy or matte black, white, gold, rose gold, and silver. We are loving the matte black and matte silver models because their texture matches the look and feel of the iPhone and is less prone to fingerprints (and scratches). What we love about the newest models of the best selling Solo, are that the appearance is less aggressive and more mature. For instance, you can now pull off a Beats headphone if you are over 2The bright red “B” logo has now been color-matched to the shade you pick.Think more sophisticated and mature.
Whereas some testers weren’t that over the moon about the plastic design, almost all liked the controls of the Beats SoloThe left earcup includes the 3.5mm input for use when the battery is dead. The Beats logo found on the right earcup is actually the button that controls playback, navigates tracks, and answers/ends calls depending on how many times you tap it. Tapping the ring above or below the “B” logo controls the volume levels and the right earcup also controls power and pairing. The Solohas a mic hidden in the ear cup to let you take calls, but it is important to note that this model does not have active noise cancellation. They are fine for those who want some isolation and muffling of outside noises, or don’t want the sound from the headphones to escape and disturb others. They do both well.
One other great feature of the Solois that it folds easily and compactly and comes with a durable and handy carrying case.
When it comes to on-ear headphones, it is very rare to find a pair that is both comfortable and securely fitted. We feel that the Beats Solodoes a good job of marrying these two ideas. The Solofeels substantial and solid, but is surprisingly lightweight. The headband is sturdy – there is no flexing of the material – and the earcups swivel to aid in a better fit.
We had no issues when briskly walking outside and working around the office and house – some testers used them at the gym and on a brisk run, but it is important to note that the Solois not considered sweatproof.
We would definitely recommend them for shorter listening sessions, but for those who wear headphones all day, you are best to check out an over-ear model like the super comfortable Bose QuietComfort 3or the Sony H.ear On Wireless NC.
Time to geek out a bit. The Apple WBluetooth chip is the abracadabra that makes the Soloa better buy than its predecessors. It makes pairing your Apple device as simple as the good ‘ole days when you just plugged in a wire. It also has ridiculously long battery life, touting 40 hours, and the Wacts as the magic wand that stretches out the juice in a same size battery.
The exciting news for some is that you do not have to own an iPhone or iPhone Plus to reap these benefits. The Wchip can work with any Bluetooth-enabled device, which includes any model of iPhone, Android phone, tablet, Mac and many PCs that are consider Bluetooth compatible. If you do not have a newer iPhone you would just simply pair your device the “old fashioned” way. It may take a few more finger swipes and taps, but you can still easily pair and – you do seem to get the same battery life!
If you are not using iCloud, the connection is still very quick, and if you don’t use iOS devices at all, the SoloWireless still operate as standard Bluetooth headphone. When you connect the included audio cable, the Soloautomatically powers down. We found no dramatic difference in audio performance between wireless and wired modes. The same cable even comes with an inline remote for music and phone calls making it pretty versatile.
What impressed us was the soft leather and ultra lightweight brushed aluminum that made these headphones feel like a premium model.
The ear cups were also very pleasant and did not create as much ear fatigue or head pinching as some on-ear models.
First of all thanks for reading my article to the end! I hope you find my reviews listed here useful and that it allows you to make a proper comparison of what is best to fit your needs and budget. Don’t be afraid to try more than one product if your first pick doesn’t do the trick.
