Blue Pan has more than 2types of pizza you can order from their menu–about 1Detroit-style pies, plus some Chicago, New York, Italian-style, and even gluten free. We ordered the caprese and a small Parma Italia pizza. The caprese plate was pretty huge and tasty–the balsamic was pretty sweet and they were generous with the basil and arugula, which I dig. The pizza was super crispy and so filling–the prosciutto, burrata, and smoked scamorza cheese all felt very upscale. I would definitely order this pizza again and cannot wait for their new (larger!) Congress Park location, coming soon!
Too many pizzas to choose from so went with a 50/50 split on the Brooklyn and Parma…you will leave with happy taste buds and a very full belly

Blue Pan Pizza is a gem in my book. We ordered carry out on a Sunday night and they estimated 25-30 minutes, not bad.
When my husband returned I found the gloriously gluttonous large Brooklyn Bridge. It was thick, soft, with ample toppings of pepperoni, cheese, sausage, sauce, and a dollop of ricotta with those super crispy cheesy edges. It could have used a little salt over the top but other than that was pretty darn delish! I would imagine right out of the oven in the actual restaurant would make this pizza taste even better.
The crust and dough of the pizza just taste flavorless to me. The mozzarella, a bit dull in flavor. The pizza sauce and pepperoni tasted great.
The Detroit style pizza is incredible–best with the little cupping style pepperoni! Not very many seats in their dining area though, so we pretty much always do carry out because there is never any seating available for dine-in. If I could make any suggestion it would be to have more red sauce on the Detroit style–sometimes the ratio of sauce to bread and cheese is off, but other than that BEST pizza in the Highlands by far!
Great pizza, I bet its even better if they delivered it warm. I live a half mile away and still got cold pizza delivered.
